Development Squad - Football fun for 5-6 year olds

We run a friendly Friday evening session for kids aged 5-6. If your child is interested in football then this is an informal way for them to find out whether or not they are interested in organised training sessions, with progressions through to our U7 teams at the beginning of the following school year. Parents who would like to get involved in helping to run the activities are welcome too!

During the summer the Development Squad is run at Chelmer Park, and is free of charge.

From the middle of October through to the end of March, the Development Squad moves to FutureSoccer, Sandon School, Molrams Lane, CM2 7AQ. A small fee applies, to cover the costs of hiring the facility.

The sessions run from 5pm until 6pm and all are welcome.

Football In The Community - drop-in football sessions for children up to Year 6

Your kids might also be interested in the Chelmsford City Football In the Community Programme, which runs from 6pm-7pm on Friday evenings at the County High School for Girls, Broomfield Road, CM1 1RW. This is another informal way for your child to partake in structured activities, and covers all ages up to and including Year 6. These sessions are run by the coaches of the Chelmsford City F.C Community Programme. A small fee applies.
