We Are THe Champions

Chelmsford City Under 10 Whites ended their season with a home win over Galleywood Youth 6-2 on sunday, before celebrating another Chelmsford Youth League championship winning season. As reigning under 9 division winners this was back to back league wins which made it all that more special for the boys involved.

The pre-season has started well by being undefeated winnwers of the Catholic Minors Tournament in Southend.

With only one year remaining in the mini soccer, the management team of Jamie Fyfe and Richard Spence had thoughts of 11-a-side football on their minds and a large squad for the new season to all keep happy. The season did not get off to a great start with two defeats in the first three fixtures. This was a worry for the management team with such a new squad, but the obviuos talent in the team mean't panic was not about to set in. In the next fixture their true quality shone through with a 4-0 win over Kelvedon Hatch, this set the course for 21 league and cup wins fo rthe remainder of the season.

The whites just missed out on the double in the U10 knockout cup final, they lost to a very good Hutton team on the day, but overal a fantastic season which reaped it's rewards of silverware.
