Windy conditions greeted both teams with Chelmsford adapting very well with their close passing game which them take an early lead against a shell shocked home side. ARLESEY TOWN 0 CHELMSFORD CITY 0 After extra time (Chelmsford City win 5-4 on penalties). Chelmsford City made it through to the Semi Finals following this dramatic victory today (Sunday 7th Feb). Division One South high flyers were a tough side to beat as they are favourites to gain promotion to the Premier and this proved so as neither side could break the deadlock in normal time. City made it through to the semi-finals after overcoming a tricky tie against a determined Hutton side on Sunday with three second half goals. Sarah Jolly went close within the first few minutes for City before both Helen Alder and Rachel Armstrong had efforts saved after Leanne Stubbings free kick parried by the keeper.
