Thursday Evening from 7:00pm

City and Romford fans have an extra special reason to attend this Thursday’s free Supporters Club event as Clarets and Romford legends ‘Replay the 1960s’ in the presence of the prestigious FA Cup silverware at the clubhouse from 7:00pm.

Ex-players from both clubs will revisit moments in history through the eyes of the men who made it, stoking-up old rivalries at the same time! There have been numerous classic encounters between the two in bygone decades and names such as Peter Gillott, Tony Butcher and Ollie Hopkins will be there to represent the Clarets, while Tommy Barnett, Roy Sanders and Bill Brown et al recall their favourite experiences playing for Romford.

Fans of both clubs are invited and there will be memorabilia on display as well as a raffle, plus the bar will be open for refreshment purposes. In addition, from 7:00 until 8:00pm, the FA Cup will be there and supporters will be able to have their photo taken alongside ‘Ole Big Ears’ with the option of making a donation to the club’s official charity, Kids Inspire.
