The Friends of City club, a business networking branch of Chelmsford City FC, will break new ground today (Tuesday) when their latest meeting features a lunchtime ‘Expo’ to display their trades and the services they have to offer.
This meeting, to be held in the Clubhouse, has been extended to run for longer than usual from 12:00noon to 3:00pm alongside the normal networking buffet lunch, with a maximum of 20 spaces available. Each business will be provided with a table and chairs to set-up their display as well as access to a power socket and wireless Internet, with the registered Friends of City members being offered their space free.
The Expo has already been described as a great chance for ‘exhibitionists’ to perform their normal business networking, with the bonus of showing their goods and services at first hand.
