Chelmsford City Youth Under 11s Clarets and Blues, along with Essex Royals Under 11s, Dunmow Rhodes Under 11s and Springfield Under 11s, helped get the Cancer Research 'Relay for Life' off to a flying start on Saturday 28th August by staging ten 9v9 friendly games at New Hall School alongside the Cancer Research event.

Sadly, the boys were unable to match the 24-hour relay that faced the Cancer Research participants but, nevertheless, it was a good afternoon's football which was enjoyed by all! Further information on Cancer Research's 'Relay For Life' can be found at www.cancerresearchuk.org.
