Great Notley Cobras 0 Chelmsford City 4
Hardest game so far this season for City with Notley keeping City on their toes. Good defence work from Elliott Howson and Oliver Ingrouille kept Notley at bay and when there was a break through, Tom Clements in goal handled the situation well. The break through came for City late in the first half with City’s continuous pressure paying off with some great passing from Jack Barry and Ore Kane allowing Alfie Cutbush to find the back of the net.
The second half was much the same as the first with both teams going at each other trying to score. City’s persistence eventually paid off late in the second half with again some great passing from City’s midfield allowing Ollie Ellis to score his first. City took Notley by surprise straight from the kick off with another goal from Ollie, shortly followed by another good move by City’s midfield allowing a good shot from Ollie to score giving him his hat trick. A great game to watch with action at both ends with the score not doing Gt Notley justice.
