Just a final reminder that the CCFC 50 Mile Challenge Karaoke Special is due to deafen the hearing of residents in Moulsham Street this Friday, with the first song being murdered at 8.30pm at The Anchor PH.

In conjunction with Essex Air Ambulance, I hope to see as many of the 50 milers present as is possible. No pressure to perform, but this is part of the project, so only a note from your parent will excuse you.

We aim to raise £250 for the Essex Air Ambulance on the night, through a variety of novel sources. No professional singers, please, as this will affect the donations/coins thrown at you!!!

Seriously, it's a Friday night - and Nipper at The Anchor has allowed us free rein in the pub, which is an amazing gesture by him. We need to repay him by having a pint, and laughing at the brave/drunk souls performing.

We've already had foretaste of a special show by Flemmy, who appears to be lining something special up, and Johnny White has promised to entertain us with his old favourite, 'Vindaloo'……honestly, unmissable…….and if we can get Bowerman down there again……

I'm still suffering the ill-effects of Saturday's shout-fest, but hope to treat the ladies with a little something……maybe a Stereophonics, or Barry White unless the throat doesn't improve.

Johnny will be offering his raffling expertise, and I have a fully signed replica City shirt 

This will be a collectors item in years to come, and it'll go to the highest bidder on the night.
