A much improved performance by City saw them hold the title favourites to a goalless first half on Sunday afternoon. 

The second half saw the visitors capitalise on a young and tiring City side to extend their unbeaten start to the season and record a rather flattering five goal victory.

Chelmsford City Ladies First Team League Cup fixture away to Norwich City Reserves was postponed on Friday afternoon by Norfolk County Council due to the unfit state of the pitch. The long period of dry weather has seen the pitches start to open up with large cracks which deemed the surface too dangerous.

This Sunday City will make the short journey down the A12 to Essex rivals Brentwood Town in a FA Womens Cup 2nd Qualifying Round fixture. The game is scheduled to take place at Brentwood Town FC, The Brentwood Centre, Doddinghurst Road. Kick Off 2.00pm.
