Defender becomes the latest Claret recruit

Chelmsford City FC are pleased to announce the return of highly rated left-back Michael Haswell.

Michael who began his career as a junior with Wimbledon FC, originally signed for the Clarets in January 2005 where he soon became a favourite with fans and players alike, winning the Supporters and Players Player of the Year Awards. He was snapped up by the then AFC Wimbledon boss Dave Anderson for an undisclosed fee the following close season.

Whilst Micky comes in, City have parted company with defender Danny Bunce. The club would like to thank Danny for all his efforts this season and wish him all the best for the future.

The club is also pleased to announce that the next round of the FA Youth Cup will be held at Melbourne Park on Wednesday 23rd September at 7:30pm
