What does the mascot package include?

 

* a complete Chelmsford City replica kit to keep

* an autographed matchday programme

* pencil case full of goodies

* photograph in the matchday programme

* guided tour of the Melbourne Stadium facility

* lead the team out of the tunnel

* warm-up with the players before kick-off (subject to circumstances)

* meet the referee and the opposing captain

* admission to the match for the mascot and two tickets for the parents/guardians

 

What does it cost?

 

The package costs £70 plus VAT (total cost = £84). As soon as the booking has been confirmed, cheques should be made payable to ‘Chelmsford City FC’ and sent (marked ‘Mascot Package’) at Chelmsford City FC, Chelmsford Sport & Athletics Centre, Salerno Way, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 2EH.

 

What do we need from you?

 

* Mascot’s name

* Mascot’s age

* Mascot’s favourite City player*

* Mascot’s favourite ‘other’ team*

* A contact telephone number in case we need to contact you on the day or beforehand

 

* these details are required for the matchday programme

 

We also need a photo of the mascot for the programme, which can either be handed in at least two weeks before the match at a game or by post to the payment address above. Alternatively, E-Mail it in JPEG format to rachel.kirby@chelmsfordcityfc.com a week before the game.

 

Kit

 

A full City kit will be provided on the day. However, you must ensure that the mascot has suitable footwear (e.g. football boots or trainers).

 

What happens on the day?

 

Please arrive at the ground at 1:30 for 3:00pm kick-offs, or at 6:15 for 7:45pm kick-offs, and go to the ‘Officials’ turnstile. They will have the mascot’s name (plus two admissions) at the turnstile and you will be granted entry. Then head towards the reception area where the staff will arrange for our ‘Mascot Minder’ to take the mascot on a guided tour of the facility. The minder will also introduce the mascot to the players for autographs and take him or her through the pre-match routine, ready for running out with the players just before the game.
